Local residential care facility operator fined 

The operator of a residential care facility in Hamilton has been fined for fire code violations.

William Haizel, the licensed operator of the three storey residential care facility on East Avenue, has been fined 4-thousand dollars for obstructing an exit with an illegal locking device.
