West Hamilton student houses target of break and enters

The Hamilton Police Service is warning residents, particularly those residing in student houses, in West Hamilton, of an increase in the number of late night and overnight entries.

During the weeks of November 25th to December 3rd, 2009, Hamilton Police investigated a number of break and enter incidents that happened in the west end of Hamilton.  A number of these entries took place when the residents were in the home.  It appears that student houses were the primary target of these thefts and the items taken were electronics; laptops, televisions and video gaming systems.
