Hamilton's famous Lancaster bomber won't be forgotten during tomorrow's visit by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The bomber -- one of only two in the world in flying condition -- will make a fly-past over the HMCS Haida when Prince Charles and his wife Camilla visit the vessel.
The couple are set to arrive at the Second World War destroyer at about 11:55 a.m. and the bomber will fly over the ship at about 12:12 p.m.
It will be an appropriate appearance for the plane. Prince Charles is the patron of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, the plane's home, and officially opened the new museum in Mount Hope in 1996.
